Volunteerism

One of the ways we embody our purpose is through devoting time to our communities, caring for the environment, and supporting causes that are dear to us. Each year, through our global Volunteering with Purpose campaign, we invite employees to set aside time to volunteer. With volunteer events like Garbage collection (MELP) and MetLife Forest, our hopes are to inspire a workforce that invests time to care for the world around us.

Diversity is the fabric that makes the world vibrantly rich, and at MetLife, it’s no different. We celebrate diversity while working to create moments of belonging. Through 4 Inclusion Network groups - Mulheres de Atitude, Presença Afro, GLAM and MDA - we support our female talents, black population, LGBTQIAP+ community and employees with disabilities, to create representation and community across the company.
