The Opportunity

The Composite AI Product Management & Enablement team is building a new AI product operating model for MetLife, coordinating delivery across multiple platforms and enablement teams. This role leads delivery coordination and portfolio operations across the program - tracking cross-team dependencies, managing delivery rhythm, and ensuring commitments are visible and moving. Scrum Leads and Portfolio Operations Specialists report directly to this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery coordination across platform and enablement pods - tracking cross-team dependencies, managing risk escalations, and maintaining end-to-end delivery visibility
  • Serve as portfolio operations leader: own delivery cadence, PI-level planning activities, increment commitments, and metrics reporting across the program
  • Lead and develop a team of Scrum Leads and Portfolio Operations Specialists who report directly to this role and serve the portfolio
  • Partner with Product Management to align delivery sequencing with roadmap priorities and surface blockers early
  • Coordinate dependencies across internal pods and partner platform teams to reduce friction and maintain program momentum

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in Agile program management, with demonstrated experience leading delivery across multiple concurrent teams or workstreams
  • Proven track record coordinating cross-team dependencies and managing delivery risk in complex, multi-platform environments
  • Strong agile delivery background with practical experience running portfolio- or program-level planning and cadence
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and organizational skills; comfortable operating in ambiguity during a stand-up phase

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent agile delivery certification
  • Experience in a product company or product-oriented platform delivery environment
  • Background in portfolio-level Agile or DevOps transformation within a large enterprise context
  • Deep hands-on experience with ALM and portfolio management tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, Targetprocess, or equivalent)

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000- $195,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
