This network of highly skilled experts delivers internal controls and effective risk management that allow us to stay well-prepared and mitigate potential risks. It’s an important part of what we do and it’s how we protect the interests of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

I joined MetLife because I was looking for a company that values ongoing innovation and work-life balance. I stay because of the opportunities to work with other passionate and impressive leaders across the globe. Also, Internal Audit reports directly to the CEO, which assures the independence of the function.

I think the flexibility in opportunities at MetLife is one of the more attractive aspects of the firm. There is a fairly robust internal recruitment process in place as new positions open up. Many of the senior investment staff here have held a half dozen or more roles during their tenure with the firm.

I was inspired to join MetLife because it is purpose-driven and a great place to work. In my compliance work, I've supported the insurance and investment businesses, and held a global role. I've worked with great people and learned about multiple facets of our business, growing my own skillset and knowledge.

Managing Business Risk

When you join our Global Risk Management group, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that helps manage risks across the enterprise. You'll help facilitate a cohesive and coordinated risk management framework, ensuring we have effective processes and strategies in our business and related activities.

Protecting Our Stakeholders

If you are in a compliance role, you are in the business of protection. Your contributions will help identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risk, establish controls, and put compliance risk management in place throughout our business processes - ultimately making trust with our stakeholders possible.

Our audit teams assess financial, operational, and compliance risk management to validate integrity and ensure requirements are met.
