The Team You Will Join
The HR Technology Relationship Manager role is part of the Group Benefits Workforce Engagement and Benefits Connectivity Organization. This team is responsible for driving growth through strategic relationships with HR Technology firms that enable benefits administration and enrollment.
The Opportunity
The HR Technology Relationship Manager role is responsible for managing overall sales and strategy relationship with HR Tech firms from sales objectives, sales channel connectivity, data integration strategy, and other strategic relationship goals contributing to sales growth and overall stewardship.
- Develop & secure deep understanding of each Firm’s strategy.
- Develop unique MetLife business plan to reflect partner strategy and drive execution cross functionality:
- Partners closely with the Group Benefits’ Data Integration & Third-Party Activation Team
- Partners with key stakeholders – AEs, Sales leaders, Compensation,
- Alignment & commitment with each firm managed.
- Dependencies with underwriting, product, service, technology, legal
- Develop joint business plan that can be executed at national and local level.
- Create strategic plans and deploying tactical activities to appropriately connect HR Tech firms and Internal Partners resulting in new and expanded business and revenue channels of distribution.
Success in this role requires ability to think strategically on how to best drive sales and engagement with the external firms through growth initiatives, connectivity between sales organizations, and relationship building skills. It also requires skills associated with positioning ideas and technical capabilities in such a way that resonates with external end-users (clients, brokers, employees) and internal stakeholders (sales executives). You’ll collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders including Regional and National sales teams, compensation and compliance, legal, marketing, underwriting, service and operations in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

- Oversee Contractual relationships with Key HR Tech firms.
- Develop Contracts, Sales Plans, and Marketing and Communications
- Coordinate pipeline opportunities and sales connectivity with key firms
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Required: Life, Accident and Health Producer License
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple relationships
- Knowledge of Microsoft products
- Experienced in the management of or interaction with benefits administration, human capital management or enrollment systems or processes
- Self-starter, motivated, comfortable in fast-paced environment and team-oriented
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Suggested 10 of years of experience in Insurance/Benefits industry
- Bachelor's Degree required
