Role Value Proposition:
Global Operations (Global Ops) focuses on creating positive experiences for MetLife customers and helping the company make the best use of its global resources. We’re looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. In this role you will provide quality customer service by processing dental claims in a timely and efficient manner
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for adjusting and processing claims received through various work queues; including returned correspondence
· Assists in the responsibilities for the overall support of the Provider Control Unit such as researching and analyzing information to handling and correcting discrepancies
· Assisting with daily inventory by effectively work load balancing in Daily Work Assignments
· Utilizes multiple mainframe, PC and Internet based systems
· Recommend appropriate process improvement opportunities regarding system enhancements and documentation/standard operation procedures (SOP’s) updates
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
· High School Diploma
· College Degree Preferred
· Strong analytical and research skills
· Possess a positive attitude and drive with the ability to promote team work throughout the organization
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision with the capability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
Preferred:
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
· Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis, investigation, and/or planning.
