Description and Requirements

Work Arrangement: We are looking for candidates within a commutable distance to Aurora, IL, Tampa, FL or Kansas City, MO. Candidates will be required to come into the office once a month.


Role Value Proposition:   

Regional Market Implementation focuses on providing a best-in-class onboarding experience for group customers new to MetLife or adding new products to their current benefit offering. The Implementation Systems Analyst (ISA) supports the onboarding process by reviewing plan designs and additional case materials to set up internal systems across all lines, initiating the billing process, and delivering contracts for customers with 2-999 eligible lives. This position is individual in nature, detail-oriented, task and deadline-driven based on the effective date of coverage, while remaining communicative and consultative to customer-facing partners including Implementation Leaders, Service, and Sales. While role does not directly communicate with customers often, the customer is at the center of every action taken and every decision made.  

     

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Complete plan, billing, and administration installations in all MetLife systems for all product lines for multiple customers simultaneously while maintaining organizational goals and key metrics aligned to processing times and quality 
  • Review, update and deliver contractual documents partnering with Contract Analysts as needed on state provisions and customer-specific plan provisions 
  • Communicate any changes in the implementation timeline and/or provisional changes that impact customer set-up with key stakeholders, including Implementation Leaders, Sales, Service, Underwriting, Claims, Vendors, etc. 
  • Proactively resolve potential issues or delays by reviewing system feeds, product/process reporting, and working with IT partners as needed 
  • Contribute to the annual review of processes and initiate process changes needed to maximize efficiency, simplicity, and customer centricity  
  • Maintain accurate documentation of workflows as processes change and/or products are added 
  • Remain engaged with the team, assisting with questions or case processing as needed as well as leading and participating in daily team huddles 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:  

Required:  

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, high school diploma required.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required and attention to detail is critical to effectively handle the technical aspects of the position. 
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Able to multi-task by balancing client facing interactions, tight deadlines, ad hoc issue resolutions, internal documentation requirements and overall client satisfaction. 
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills are required.  
  • Ability to modify and develop procedures and policies to meet reporting needs/requirements. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

 

The expected salary range for this position is $54,100 - $72,100. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
