Description and Requirements

The Engagement Analytics Director is responsible for leveraging data and insights to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organizations objectives of overall Employee servicing and education. The role wakes up thinking everyday about the Employee and the objective of understanding and engaging in benefit decisions.  By understanding the existing data landscape and leveraging data analysis, this role researches and creates hypothesis, pilots and decisions to drive engagement.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency for Participant Engagement
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making.
  • Understand the needs of the group benefits employee and the customer to align business outcomes and inform decisions
  • Setting goals and objectives to achieve the key results of the organization.
  • Communicating data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership. 
  • Structure, negotiate, and implement vendor agreements, distribution relationships and partner agreements when needed 
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data analytics and strategy.
  • Provide, communicate, and implement strategy to address competition, changes in customer preference, and improvements in technology and marketing tools
  • Utilize information from CDP data and research to understand trends and opportunities
  • Leverage on market/customer research, trends, and competitor analysis to drive additional opportunities and enhance customer loyalty
  • Organize, negotiate, and implement pilots and programs
  • Work with finance partners to perform financial analysis and modeling
  • Responsible for conducting analysis of large datasets 
  • Provide further insight into the teams overall strategy by identifying critical questions while performing ad-hoc analyses
  • Provide operational insights to achieve key results
  • Summarize insights from analysis and clearly communicate analytical findings in a cohesive story; and articulate an argument to be presented to executives
  • Responsible for building and coordinating training for appropriate external and internal client-facing materials and/or changes
  • Provide leadership to teams and cross-functional teams on the execution of an implementation, work plan, or other strategic initiative


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy and data analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leading and managing teams 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques 
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Powerpoint & Excel

The expected salary range for this position is 109,800-150,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
