Role Value Proposition:

The Vendor Management Enablement (VME) team, in Business Controls, serves as a strategic support function for the Vendor Management Organization. This team ensures that the Vendor Management Organization is equipped with standardized processes, procedures, training, and automation tools to drive efficiency and simplify vendor management practices.

 

 We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Director Programs & Automation to drive the vision, development, and delivery of technology products while leading automation initiatives across Business Controls. This dual-role position requires a blend of product management expertise and hands-on experience with automation tools and methodologies to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and deliver measurable business value.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership:

  • Lead and drive automation programs across business controls to successful completion of implementation
  • Define and communicate program objectives, change management, implementation.
  • Build cross-functional teams to define, build, operate automation plans, structure, workstreams and execution of the program.

Product Ownership:

  • Define and communicate the product vision (Sirion), roadmap, and priorities in alignment with business goals.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements.
  • Own and manage the product day-to-day deployment, ensuring continuous delivery of value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders.

Automation Leadership:

  • Assist in developing and executing the Business Controls automation strategy, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions using tools such as PowerBi, Power Automate and PowerApps.
  • Partner with business units to assess automation feasibility.
  • Establish governance, best practices, and standards for automation development and maintenance.
  • Monitor and report on automation performance, adoption, and impact.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Program Management, IT product management, automation, or related roles.
  • Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Managing enterprise level program or technologies
  • Strong background in developing and utilizing data, analytics, AI, robotics, and/or automation.
  • Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred: 

  • Experience as a Product Owner.
  • Experience working with vendor management and contract management processes. 
  • Experience with third party management software (Sirion, Icertis, etc.) 
  • Change management certification or practical experience.

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 to $165,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
