The Dental Claims Concierge plays a critical role in delivering a differentiated service experience for select dental customers and members. This position serves as a trusted advocate, helping customers navigate complex claims, benefit questions, and service issues while building confidence in MetLife’s dental products and services. - Serve as the dedicated point of contact for assigned customers, providing personalized support and guidance for complex service needs.
- Resolve customer and member claim escalations by conducting thorough reviews and ensuring timely, accurate outcomes.
- Partner with sales, account management, operations, and other internal teams to address customer concerns and improve service delivery.
- Provide expertise on dental plan provisions, claims processes, and customer service solutions to support clients and internal business partners.
- Promote customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication, issue resolution, and consultative relationship management.
- High school diploma with some college coursework and experience applying dental claims or benefits knowledge to customer service and issue resolution.
- 3+ years of dental claims, dental customer service, account management, or related benefits administration experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to support customer reporting, analysis, and presentations.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, resolve complex customer issues, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
- Experience managing complex client relationships within dental, insurance, employee benefits, or healthcare environments.
- Working knowledge of dental plan provisions, claims administration processes, and customer service best practices.
- Strong listening, consultative, and relationship-management skills with the ability to build trust and accountability through empathetic communication.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and proactively pursue continuous learning and development.
The expected salary range for this position is $74,500 - $90,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
