The Team You Will Join 

The National Accounts Client Services Consultant II team is part of MetLife's National Accounts division, specifically within the Group Benefits sector. This team is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to National Accounts customers, which includes Fortune 500 companies. Their key responsibilities involve facilitating the implementation process, consulting on plan and product offerings, coordinating benefit fairs and enrollment meetings, and acting as a liaison between benefit managers and MetLife claim offices for benefit interpretation and escalated claim issues.

 
The Opportunity 
The Client Services Consultant II is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to National Accounts customers, including Fortune 500 companies across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to facilitate the implementation process, consult on plan and product offerings, and coordinate benefit fairs and enrollment meetings. The role also involves acting as a liaison between benefit managers and MetLife claim offices for benefit interpretation and escalated claim issues.


Success in this role requires exceptional customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.The Client Services Consultant II is responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to support key National Accounts initiatives and enhancing operational effectiveness. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, Client Services Directors, Financial Consultants, and technical staff in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead cross-functional project teams designed to support key National Accounts initiatives or to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Create comprehensive administrative support plans for National Accounts customers, including Fortune 500 companies.
  • Oversee the implementation process, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication between all stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships by acting as a liaison between benefit managers and MetLife claim offices for benefit interpretation and escalated claim issues.
  • Develop strategic plans for client account audits and the strategic planning process, partnering with the financial team to complete client reports.
  • Coordinate benefit fairs, enrollment meetings, and client meetings, preparing materials, agendas, and presentations.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Preferred, but not required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. This educational background will help in understanding and managing complex client needs and financial reports.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create detailed reports, presentations, and manage client data.
  • CRM Systems: Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems to track client interactions and manage customer data effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills: To provide ongoing customer delivery and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational abilities: To manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • Suggested 5+ years of experience in client services or account management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Project Management Software: Familiarity with tools used to manage and track project progress.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to apply analytical skills to the interaction of MetLife’s group products, services, and systems.
  • Empathy and understanding: To build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.

The salary range for applicants for this position is $63,500 - $84,700 Base Salary + Annual Bonus.
