The Client Services Consultant II is responsible for delivering the end-to-end client experience for a portfolio of PEO, Payroll and Staffing (PPS) relationships ranging from 5,000 to over 20,000 eligible members often generating more than $5M in annual premium. This role supports MetLife's commitment to building strong client partnerships by serving as the primary contact for strategic account management, service delivery, and operational excellence.

Location - Hybrid out of any MetLife office.
- Lead the overall client experience for a portfolio of PPS customers, serving as the primary point of contact for service requests, issue resolution, and ongoing account management.
- Manage and coordinate client projects, presentations, strategic planning activities, audits, and implementation of service solutions across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and recommend alternative solutions, plan design options, and process improvements that support client objectives and business growth.
- Partner with internal MetLife teams to resolve complex customer issues, ensure operational excellence, and maintain accurate contract, broker, and system data.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members while maintaining expertise in MetLife products, services, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- High School diploma and 5+ years of experience in client services, account management, employee benefits, insurance, or a related field.
- Expertise in group insurance products, services, and systems, with the ability to support complex client needs and business requirements.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client commitments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, including experience presenting to clients and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting Professional Employer Organization (PEO) clients or similar large-group benefits relationships.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend strategic solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and MS Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting executive-level client interactions.
- Self-motivated learner with a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
