The Opportunity

MetLife is seeking a Business Solutions Consultant to support complex initiatives within our Retirement & Income Solutions organization. In this role, you will partner with business, technology, and delivery teams to analyze needs, improve processes, and help deliver solutions aligned to enterprise strategy and Agile delivery practices. 


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and supporting initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business value. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Support multiple projects/phases, aligning work to business objectives
  • Analyze processes and requirements to identify effective solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, teams, and stakeholders in Agile delivery
  • Create and maintain key artifacts (features, user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Manage risks/issues, support operational readiness, and ensure audit/compliance standards


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience supporting business or technology initiatives, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Experience documenting business requirements, processes, or solution designs


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting software development or business process transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery concepts and tools
  • Experience working in a regulated or enterprise environment

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is 74,500-99,300. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
