The Audit and Risk Management team plays a crucial role, and so to does the Audit & Risk consultant role in ensuring the integrity and stability of an organization’s financial and operational practices. This Audit & Risk consultant role involves evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes to safeguard the company’s assets and operations.


How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Conduct Audits: The Audit & Risk consultant will Plan and execute internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks to the organization’s operations and propose measures to mitigate them.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Keep abreast of current developments in audit and risk management.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and recommendations. Present these reports to senior management and the board of directors as needed.
  • Internal Controls: Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements. Ensure that the organization’s control environment is robust and effective.
  • Advisory Role: Act as an advisor to the management team on matters concerning risk management and internal controls. Provide guidance on improving business processes and procedures.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on risk management and internal control practices. Foster a culture of risk awareness within the organization.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends and anomalies that may indicate potential risks or areas of improvement.
  • Fraud Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to detect and prevent fraud within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve audit and risk management processes to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Fluent native Portuguese speaker with business level English
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit, risk management, or a related field. 

Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in using audit and risk management software tools.
