How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Conduct Audits: The Audit & Risk consultant will Plan and execute internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks to the organization’s operations and propose measures to mitigate them.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Keep abreast of current developments in audit and risk management.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and recommendations. Present these reports to senior management and the board of directors as needed.
- Internal Controls: Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements. Ensure that the organization’s control environment is robust and effective.
- Advisory Role: Act as an advisor to the management team on matters concerning risk management and internal controls. Provide guidance on improving business processes and procedures.
- Training: Provide training and support to staff on risk management and internal control practices. Foster a culture of risk awareness within the organization.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends and anomalies that may indicate potential risks or areas of improvement.
- Fraud Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to detect and prevent fraud within the organization.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Fluent native Portuguese speaker with business level English
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit, risk management, or a related field.
