The Team You Will Join 

Our team at MetLife supports the PlanSmart Financial Education program by delivering high-quality, compliant communications and resources that help employees navigate key life stages and workplace transitions. We collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop materials for Financial Education Workshops and Transition Solutions – empowering employees with the information they need to make confident decisions. From presentations to promotional items, to compliance review and content distribution, we ensure every piece is accurate, accessible, and aligned with MetLife’s standards. The Opportunity 

The Business Procedures Consultant is responsible for compliance submissions and edits to our program material. In this role, you’ll craft clear, visually engaging communications that meet the highest quality and compliance standards, helping ensure every piece reflects MetLife’s voice and values. You’ll collaborate across teams from concept through launch to manage materials that inform, engage, and support key business initiatives. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a creative eye, and a collaborative spirit – someone who enjoys working with others to bring clear, well-designed, and compliant communications to life. The Business Procedures Consultant is responsible for maintaining a tracker and compliance process and updating our program material. You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external partners in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.


How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

Manage various employer and employee communications, including presentations, emails, letters, flyers, slipsheets, reference guides, and more.

  • Review material for any typographical errors, statistical and source updates.
  • Add visual design to the material.
  • Maintain and submit program material to legal for routine compliance reviews.
  • Distribute and communicate the material to various people and platforms.
  • Manage print production for promotional items and program collateral. 
  • Track and audit shared platforms to ensure the material is most current.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • 2+ years of relevant business, communications, or marketing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) 
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadline
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively learning new tools and processes
  • Positive, creative, and can-do attitude with strong relationship-building skills

 

 What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • 5+ years of relevant business, communications, or marketing experience 
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Self-starter with sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in layout, composition, and visual design

The salary range for applicants for this position is 53,000 to 81,200.
