Position objective:
To recruit, select, train, supervise, develop and retain active and productive agents and Unit managers (UM) and provide all necessary directions, management and support in order to achieve the required results, in a timely, profitable and sustainable manner. To ensure agents and Unit managers in their area of responsibilities are doing their job on a daily basis and in accordance with the company’s standards.
Main responsibilities:
Recruitment
v Actively searches on the market potential managers and agents;
v Creates a database with contacts of potential managers and agents;
Selection
v Selects the potential candidates through structured interview process;
v Convinces and sales the career to the selected candidates;
v Ensures they are well prepared and positioned for their new job;
Management
v Ensures as a minimum the attainment of production, manpower, and quality, budgeted objectives in a timely manner;
v Leads and motivates his/ her Agents and Unit Managers to put the required work daily with conviction and proper attitude, removing any real or assumed barriers, to achieve budgeted objectives;
v Uses all activity and monitoring processes to ensure effective & compliant implementation and follow up of the expected daily activities;
v Ensures that the Agents provide high quality, reliable service to our customers during the initial sales process and throughout the life of each policy;
v Reports regularly, personally and through the reporting system, to the senior management of his/ her progress and is accountable for the results;
v Applies the Company standards and procedures in supervising the Agents and Unit managers within his/ her structure;
v Ensures that his/ her structure is in full compliance with Company directions;
v Ensures that the agents within the structure maintain high standards of conduct and behavior with both internal and external customers;
v Manages effectively the financing tools and processes in accordance with their intended purpose and in line with Company’s guidelines;
v Uses Company systems (AT and others) to better plan, monitor and control team and individual performance;
Training and Development
v Follows the induction plan for the new recruits;
v Conducts field trainings to ensure people have the necessary skills to be effective in their job;
v Trains, in coordination with the training department, all the structure, to ensure the agents and the managers have the knowledge and skills needed;
v Coaches and develops Agents to achieve their objectives, responsibilities and career development through systematic and regular Training, Joint Field Work and one to one meetings;
v Creates development plans to improve performance and personal capabilities;
v Analyzes the reasons of missperformance and takes the necessary corrective measures;
v Participates in all planned training sessions in accordance with the Company’s training procedures.
Position requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Economics or humanities;
- Successful track record in a similar position for at least 1 year;
- Fluent in English;
- Able to manage, coach, motivate and develop people;
- A digital mindset, curiosity, innovative approach;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Open to new initiatives and thinking out of the box;
- Action oriented with a sense of urgency;
- Decisive, able to resolve business and people issues, with “business logic”.
