The Team You Will Join 

Lead both the Ireland Group Life and Freedom of Services business lines on behalf of the Head of Customer Service and Operations (CSO), UK&I. Drive the development of the business lines through oversight of both out- and insourced operational services and provide engagement with stakeholders at various levels of seniority. Ensure key operational metrics are met and work in partnership with the wider CSO team and the EMEA Vendor Management team. Actively own risk and control management and work to deliver excellent outcomes for customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing operational oversight including performance management, business reviews, contract change management and issue management
  • Support and contribute to Governance meetings in line with TPRM and VMO minimum standards
  • Oversee relationships that sometimes span across multiple markets, areas, functions, and/or lines of business
  • Determine requirements to address complex and varied business needs for overseeing complex vendors
  • Research and request vendor proposals and own the development of service level agreements that meet business needs
  • Own the resolution of vendor risk issues, manage the non-financial risks, and own the register of any risk and loss events associated with the business


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

   Required:

  • 2-4 years of leading or supporting key projects
  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge of business functions, processes/procedures, workflow, systems, and transactions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer service skills 
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Willingness and ability to solve problems
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and apply critical and strategic thinking
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible approach to work with an ability to manage competing priorities effectively

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Prior operational management experience 
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements/initiatives with competing demands in a continuously changing environment
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment, balancing potentially conflicting requirements
  • Existing knowledge of the Credit Life/Bancassurance and/or Group Life markets
  • Polish/German language skills would be an advantage
