We are seeking a LatAm External Intelligence Director to play a key role in advancing MetLife LatAm’s business transformation journey and driving the momentum of our New Frontier strategy.

What you will do in this role:

• Continuously monitor, analyze, and interpret market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support the execution of business priorities.
• Develop and present key findings, strategic implications, and proposed actions to senior management across the region.
• Identify and assess new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives based on market intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure intelligence insights are embedded into business strategies and decision-making.
• Apply creative thinking and innovative approaches to generate ideas and solutions that drive competitive advantage.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in market intelligence and competitive analysis.

To help you succeed, you need to have:

• Experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis, or a similar role.
• Background in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strategic and creative thinking, with a proactive mindset for identifying and structuring opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strategic relationships in a collaborative environment.
• Agility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with a continuous learning mindset.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Portuguese is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
