You will be part of the Procurement team organization at MetLife for LATAM. This team plays a critical role in supporting sourcing operations, ensuring supplier compliance, and enabling efficient purchasing processes across the region. The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to maintain operational excellence and uphold MetLife’s standards of integrity and sustainability.
The Junior Supplier Analyst is responsible for supporting the end-to-end procurement process, including the validation, approval, and tracking of purchase requests and supplier data across LATAM. This position is essential to ensure timely and accurate supplier onboarding and purchasing operations that align with MetLife’s business goals and compliance standards.

Success in this role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills. The Junior Supplier Analyst is responsible for managing procurement workflows and maintaining accurate supplier records. You’ll collaborate closely with sourcing managers, finance teams, and regional stakeholders in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
- Lead the validation and approval process of purchase requests ensuring alignment with sourcing and finance policies.
- Manage communications with internal requesters and regional procurement teams to resolve issues and ensure timely approvals.
- Develop training materials and support the creation of learning documents for procurement tools and processes.
- Maintain open communication with LATAM stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance in procurement operations.
- Knowledge of procurement platforms, with the ability to manage workflows and supplier data.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems for tracking and resolving procurement-related requests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
- A proactive and service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Suggested 1–2 years of experience in procurement, finance operations, or supplier management.
- Experience supporting regional or global procurement processes in a corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Interest in sustainability, supplier diversity, or digital procurement transformation.
- Intermediate English level, Portuguese is a plus.
