The Team You Will Join 
You will be part of the Procurement LATAM Reporting & Governance team at MetLife. This team plays a key role in consolidating operational metrics, managing regional procurement policies, and ensuring data integrity across sourcing processes. The team collaborates with country leads and internal stakeholders to drive transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement in procurement operations.
 
The Opportunity 

The Junior Supplier Analyst is responsible for generating and maintaining procurement reports, supporting the implementation of regional procedures, and coordinating improvement initiatives across LATAM. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multinational environment, gain exposure to regional procurement operations, and contribute to strategic decision-making through data analysis and governance support.

The Junior Supplier Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, policy alignment, and operational consistency in procurement activities. You’ll collaborate closely sourcing managers, accounts payable team, risk management teams, and country and regional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and support governance control over procurement activities and compliance efforts in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard. 

 
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
  • Lead execution and revision of regional procurement policies and procedures. This includes collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and analyzing current practices to identify gaps.
  • Develop new policy documents based on regulatory changes or feedback from stakeholders.
  • Create advanced reporting documents and dashboards to enhance the quality of decision-making. Incorporate customizable KPIs, real-time data visualization, automated trend analysis, and other capabilities to provide actionable insights. 
  • Monitor access permissions to procurement systems and platforms.
  • Manage data from various procurement platforms, ensuring the integrity of the information in all reports containing related data.
  • Actively participate in regional projects related to procurement governance and data visualization.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems and procurement platforms.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems for tracking and resolving procurement-related requests.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
  • Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
 
 What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
  • Suggested 1–2 years of experience in procurement, finance operations, or supplier management.
  • Experience supporting regional or global procurement processes in a corporate environment.
  • Interest in digital procurement transformation.
  • Intermediate or superior English level is ideal; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
