The job holder serves as Distribution Compliance Executive supporting the BIDV–MetLife Management Team in planning and implementing an effective Distribution Compliance Program. This role includes conducting compliance training, handling sales force violations, and taking all necessary actions to ensure the achievement of the Company’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the development, review, assessment, and implementation of departmental procedures and internal regulations, as well as those of other departments, to ensure alignment with the Company’s objectives, MetLife’s policies and standards, insurance industry standards, and applicable Vietnamese laws and regulations.
- Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and sales practices by evaluating, reviewing, or investigating cases with indications of misconduct, including coordination with competent authorities in accordance with procedural requirements under Vietnamese law.
- Manage, maintain, and update the department’s internal database related to distribution compliance activities.
- Participate in monitoring reporting mechanisms and preparing regular and ad-hoc reports to keep the BIDV–MetLife Management Team informed of the operation and progress of the Distribution Compliance system.
- Participate in the delivery of distribution compliance training programs, including introductory training for new agents and sales managers, as well as ongoing training for all sales force members.
- Support the maintenance of effective compliance communication channels for the sales force to promote ethical conduct and foster a culture of compliance.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by the Director of Compliance & Risk Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Insurance, Banking & Finance, or Law.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Good communication skills and working proficiency in English.
- Minimum of three (03) years of relevant working experience, preferably in law enforcement, compliance, or investigation. Experience in investigation activities or in the sales systems of insurance companies is highly preferred.
