Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration on preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements
- Submission of regulatory reports to the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) and the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI)
- Regular analytical review of IFRS 17 reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Cooperation with central reporting team, actuarial and IT teams on data preparation and reconciliations
- Co-responsibility for tax matters, ensuring accuracy of tax reporting and participation in local tax audits, inquiries, and inspections
- Co-responsibility for local statutory audits, including coordination with external auditors
- Coordination of Finance team members and other functions to ensure timely and smooth audit execution
- Design, implementation, and optimization of processes related to external reporting to improve efficiency and control
Qualifications & Skills
- Fully Qualified Candidate (ACCA/FCCA)
- Preferrably with Big4 Background
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, including IFRS 17 and IFRS 9
- Proven experience in regulatory reporting and tax compliance for insurance entities
- Familiarity with local statutory requirements and audit processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems
The starting salary for this position is from 3,000€ per month and is subject to further discussion, in accordance with applicable Slovak legislation.
