Assistant Manager, Finance 

The responsibility of this role to handle investment portfolios/ treasury investment and financial planning related activities. This candidate will help controller team to adopt Nepal Financial Reporting Standards and thereafter oversee its implementation on an ongoing basis. 

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Investment Intelligence - Collect and share market intelligence and issuer information with regional investment office; identify investment opportunities through monitoring market pipelines, maintain relationships with issuers and brokers.
  • Investment Reporting and Planning/Projection - Monitor asset performance, produce internal and external reports related to investment; develop detailed investment plan based on business/product strategy, and investment risk appetite; develop and propose annual ALM guidelines, and support new product pricing.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for interpreting financial trends, preparing short- and long-term projections, ensuring compliance with regulatory and other applicable laws, and regular reporting on various aspects of the department.
  • Manages analysis, assignments, or projects for the area of responsibility.
  • Assist in the implementation of new Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Strong ability to formulate and manage financial planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Ad hoc reports.
    Job Specification 
  • Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in Nepali and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  • Must have good knowledge of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards, with good analytical skills.
  • Solid knowledge in investment and portfolio management.  
  • Knowledge of financial concepts, principles and practices.
  • Ability to present financial data concisely and clearly. 


Experience: More than or equals to 2 years.


Education: Qualified Charter Accountant/ACCA with an undergraduate degree or Postgraduate equivalent with relevant experience. CFA and experience in investment a plus.
