Role Value Proposition

As the Agile Transformation Lead for EMEA, you will partner with the Regional CIO, IT leadership, country leaders, and business leadership to shape and execute transformative strategies that drive business agility across the region. You will enable leaders and teams to adopt fit-for-purpose Agile ways of working, fostering a culture of adaptability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact how technology and business teams collaborate, deliver value, and respond to change in a complex, multi-country environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the EMEA CIO, IT leadership, country leaders, and business leadership on all aspects of Agile transformation.
  • Support alignment with Enterprise Agile Enablement to ensure standardized Agile practices and operating models across Global Technology & Operations.
  • Lead the design and execution of regional Agile transformation strategies, tailored to local contexts and business needs.
  •     Champion a methodology-agnostic approach, selecting and tailoring Agile, Lean, and other modern ways of working to best fit the needs of each business area.
  • Navigate the complexity of the EMEA region, adapting transformation strategies to diverse cultures, regulatory environments, and business contexts.
  •  Partner with both IT and business leadership to align Agile transformation with strategic business objectives and market needs.
  • Facilitate the adoption of Agile principles, practices, and mindsets across teams and functions, leveraging a variety of frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, etc.) as appropriate.
  •  Coach and mentor leaders and teams at all levels, focusing on leadership agility, cultural change, and business outcomes.
  • Support the integration of Agile with other transformation initiatives.
  • Define, track, and communicate clear business and technology outcomes resulting from Agile transformation, ensuring value delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging practices, bringing innovative ideas to the EMEA region.


Essential Experience and Skills

  • Significant experience leading Agile transformations in large, complex organizations, ideally across multiple countries or regions.
  •  Deep understanding of a range of Agile frameworks and practices.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in both IT and business environments, with a strong focus on collaboration and value delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise in organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and influencing at all levels without direct authority.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with sensitivity to cultural differences.
  •  Experience with Agile tools, DevOps, cloud platforms, and data analytics is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  •  Commitment to continuous learning and sharing of new industry trends.
  • SAFe SPC certification is required. (Certifications in other Agile frameworks are a plus, but a proven track record of successful Agile transformation across multiple methodologies is essential.)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting regional or global CIOs and IT leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management frameworks.
  • Experience in regulated or multi-country environments.
  •  Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
