The Opportunity 

The Sr Manager, B2B Performance Media is a strategic role that is responsible for assisting in the creation and management of marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement while achieving business goals.

 

The role will be responsible for assisting in building and executing fully integrated marketing programs for the B2B business that drive customer engagement while positioning MetLife as relevant, differentiated and forward thinking. The primary focus of this role will be media planning and execution through traditional channels and ABX. This person will also help with developing custom content with Media partners and lead ABX initiatives.  Duties involve media planning, administering ABX initiatives, monitoring their progress, analyzing the results, and communicating key insights and outcomes to upper management while working in an agile methodology.


How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for overseeing US and EMEA media planning and full-funnel campaign management
  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance on media best practices as a media expert; bringing forward opportunities, challenges, best practices and marketplace, technology developments to key stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive media briefs and plans that bring audience insights to life while driving business goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on campaign planning, media-mix modeling, creative/content needs, analytics & measurement
  • Best Practices and Innovation: Lead campaign media plans and execution, (channels could include Digital OOH, print, digital, video, social, search and custom programs), consolidate feedback, ensure alignment with campaign strategy and meet KPIs and business goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Research and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in ABX media buying and planning.
  • Manage media work & agency relationships: guide agency on strategy based on business initiatives to maximize media impact; manage workload; nurture relationships with partner agencies. You will work closely with our B2B ABX media agency to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.  They will serve as an extension of the ABX media team at MetLife
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors
  • Manage budgeting/forecasting and coordinate with internal and external teams for campaign planning
  • Develop and nurture relationships across the business and with external thought leaders to gain learnings, best practices and identify new opportunities to experiment.
  • Proactively manage brand safety governance and compliance requirements.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor, analyze and optimize the ABX funnel, and track and report on the key metrics and KPIs, such as keywords, account engagement, pipeline generation, and revenue attribution. 
  • Account Insights: Partnering with our data and analytics team, develop deep insights into target accounts by monitoring, tracking, and reporting on engagement and business results to better understand their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes to inform ABX strategies. 

 

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • 7+ years planning across all media vehicles in an agency or client environment
  • Marketing and paid media experience in Retirement and Income Solutions or Investment Management.
  • Strong experience with ad serving, analytics, and attribution technologies and partners (Double Click, Google Analytics, Adobe, 6sense or other ABM platforms, PathFactory, Integrate, LiveRamp etc.)
  • Highly proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to help drive projects forward 
  • Highly analytical, with experience optimizing for lead generation performance
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that is dedicated to marketing excellence
  • Ambition to learn new skills, gain marketing experience outside of media planning and grow as a marketer.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build, influence and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to develop and optimize fully integrated marketing strategy and plans across a large-scale enterprise organization
  • Willingness to jump in to help cross-functional team deliver on integrated marketing work as needed
  • Bachelor's degree

The salary range for applicants for this position is 105,200 - 150,000.
