The UI Full Stack Engineer is a hands-on engineer responsible for building and delivering scalable, cloud native, API driven digital experiences with a strong emphasis on modern React user interfaces and Java-based backend services. You will develop responsive, accessible, high-performance web applications and integrate them with secure, well designed REST APIs and microservices.
You will drive implementation across the stack—React (UI), Java/Spring Boot (services), and data/API integration—while enforcing engineering standards that promote consistency, reliability, security, and maintainability. This includes applying DevSecOps practices, automated testing, code quality gates, and production readiness patterns to support resilient solutions at scale
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring secure, high-quality code across UI and backend components, adhering to enterprise engineering standards
Investigating and resolving production management incidents, problems, and service requests across React UI, APIs, and Java services
Interfacing closely with the Scrum/Sprint team to deliver user stories, contribute to estimations, and support iterative delivery
Working with cross functional teams (Product, UX, QA, Platform, DevOps) to ensure seamless end to end feature delivery
Performing design and code reviews for React UI and Java backend, ensuring compliance with best practices, security guidelines, and acceptable performance standards
Technical:
Required:
·Hands-on development experience with Java and frontend technologies including React, along with backend frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot, deployed on Azure
·Hands-on development of UI driven full stack applications and microservices from the ground up, building React-based user interfaces integrated with Java REST APIs
·Hands-on experience with code management, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
·Proficiency with database technologies, including SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server preferred) and NoSQL data stores
·Experience with container-based development leveraging Docker and/or Kubernetes
·Experience with DevSecOps practices and tooling for CI/CD, release management, automation, and quality gates using Azure DevOps
Preferred:
·Experience with frontend architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimization in React-based applications
·Experience with integration tools such as Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, or similar event-driven integration mechanisms
·Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including AKS and related cloud-native components
·Experience working with Microservices Architecture, distributed systems, and API-driven integrations
·Experience with Veracode, static code analysis tools, and secure coding best practices
