Position Summary:

Do you thrive on creating unforgettable experiences that leave people talking long after the moment is over? Are you passionate about the power of partnerships and how to maximize every asset—across channels—to drive both brand and business growth? If so, MetLife has an exciting opportunity for you.

We’re seeking a Manager of Sponsorships & Hospitality to join our dynamic Partnership Marketing team. In this role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of high-impact client entertainment programs and brand sponsorship activations across the enterprise. You’ll serve as both a creative thinker and operational expert—bringing together internal and external partners to deliver best-in-class experiences that showcase MetLife’s value and purpose.

This role sits within the Global Marketing and Communications department and is an essential team member that will collaborate with key corporate function stakeholders and business units to ensure various programs are well integrated across brand and business needs. This person will be responsible for developing and fostering relationships to create unique customer engagement opportunities, deliver exceptional sales enablement programs and demonstrate the superiority of our products and services by leveraging the combined assets of our partners and our enterprise.

This is an ideal opportunity for a marketing professional with a background in sponsorships, event planning, or hospitality who is ready to take their career to the next level in a global, purpose-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of MetLife’s partnership marketing programs and premium hospitality experiences, ensuring all activations authentically reflect MetLife's brand values and reinforce our purpose.
  • Collaborate with brand and enterprise strategy teams to identify experiential marketing opportunities that align with MetLife’s transformation agenda and drive measurable impact.
  • Develop and implement brand experience standards for hospitality touchpoints, ensuring consistent delivery of our brand promises across every customer and stakeholder interaction.
  • Use sponsorship platforms as incubators for new brand experience ideas, measuring impact and scalability across markets.
  • Design and deliver hospitality programs that support sales enablement, relationship building, and customer retention in key markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business stakeholders and external partners, including rights holders and venue operators.
  • Oversee the activation of sponsorship assets—including suite experiences, golf programs (e.g. The Players Championship), and signature events—ensuring flawless execution and alignment with brand standards.
  • Serve as a day-to-day lead on event planning and execution, ensuring high-touch service, on-brand presentation, and operational excellence.
  • Manage MetLife’s suite at MetLife Stadium, with direct oversight of ticket distribution, track usage, and evaluate ROI.
  • Develop year-end hospitality and ticketing performance reports with strategic recommendations for future investments.
  • Lead budget tracking, vendor invoicing, chargebacks, and monthly reconciliation across programs.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in partnership marketing, event planning, and/or corporate hospitality
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in execution
  • A creative thinker and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Professionalism, poise, and adaptability when interacting with senior leadership and external partners

The expected salary range for this position is 105,200-140,100. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
