The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analytics Specialist to support the Employee Benefits business by transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The role focuses on business intelligence, reporting, analytics, process improvement, and the use of AI-powered tools to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Analytics

  • Analyze business challenges and opportunities within the Employee Benefits line of business and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support the integration of data analytics and data-driven decision-making into business planning processes.
  • Continuously improve reporting and analytical processes through automation and simplification initiatives.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools to analyze data, identify trends, and generate business insights.

Business Reporting & Intelligence

  • Design, develop, and maintain metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to support key business decisions.
  • Ensure data accuracy through reconciliation and validation exercises across multiple departments.
  • Develop insightful visualizations and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI, to support Employee Benefits business needs.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar analytics or reporting role.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using large datasets and external data sources.
  • Experience working with databases, dashboards, and analytical reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and DAX; exposure to Python, R, or machine learning concepts is an advantage.
  • Experience within the insurance industry, particularly in group life and medical insurance.
