Role Value Proposition:

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking leader to serve as Director, Multimedia Services, reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Event Production and Multimedia Services. This role is accountable for enterprise ownership of multimedia technology platforms and operations, including conference rooms, collaboration spaces, digital signage, and custom environments across the global footprint.

The Director will lead a large, multi‑disciplinary multimedia organization responsible for architecture, engineering, deployment, and operational support of AV and collaboration technologies. This includes platform ownership for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco collaboration environments, AV‑over‑IP, control systems, and room automation. A core focus of this role is driving room monitoring, automation, and self‑healing capabilities to improve stability, reduce incident volume, and modernize service delivery.

This leader will also play a critical role in managed service provider strategy, service design, and the transformation of support models—ensuring scalability, accountability, and a future‑ready operating posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Organization Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a large multimedia services organization spanning engineering, operations, and platform support.
  • Build and sustain highly productive, agile teams with strong technical depth, clear ownership, and operational discipline.
  • Establish clear accountability models, performance expectations, and career paths across internal teams and partners.

Multimedia Platform Ownership:

  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of enterprise multimedia platforms, including:
  • Conference and collaboration rooms
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms and Cisco Webex environments
  • Digital signage and IPTV solutions
  • Custom and high‑impact collaboration spaces
  • Define, standardize, and govern global multimedia architecture, standards, and design patterns.

Room Automation, Monitoring, and SelfHealing:

  • Lead the design and deployment of room automation, proactive monitoring, and self‑healing architectures.
  • Reduce manual room checks, improve platform uptime, and shift operations from reactive support to predictive, data‑driven service models.
  • Establish a single‑pane‑of‑glass view of room health, system performance, and operational insights.

Operations and Service Excellence:

  • Own operational performance for multimedia environments, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Drive operational maturity through runbooks, escalation models, root‑cause analysis, and KPI‑driven decision making.
  • Partner with ITSM and End User Technology teams to align multimedia services with enterprise support frameworks.

Managed Service Provider & Service Design Leadership:

  • Lead and govern large, global managed service providers, ensuring clear scope ownership, performance accountability, and full system access.
  • Architect and evolve service design models that balance cost, quality, scalability, and user experience.
  • Drive vendor strategy, contract optimization, and continuous service improvement.

Technology Architecture, and Innovation:

  • Guide the evolution of multimedia architecture, including AV‑over‑IP, software‑defined audio, control systems, and collaboration platforms.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Facilities, Real Estate, and Security teams to deliver integrated, secure solutions.
  • Evaluate and deploy advanced multimedia technologies, including large video walls, advanced signal routing, and high‑end production platforms where required.

Stakeholder Partnership:

  • Serve as a trusted technology leader to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Translate complex technical strategy into clear roadmaps, operational plans, and measurable outcomes.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise technology environments, with progressive responsibility across engineering, operations, or platform ownership.
  • 3–4 years of experience in multimedia, audio‑visual, collaboration, or workplace technology environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex teams and building high‑performing, agile organizations.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise multimedia and collaboration platforms, including:
    1. Microsoft Teams Rooms and Cisco Webex environments
    2. AV control systems (e.g., Crestron)
    3. DSP platforms (e.g., Biamp)
    4. Digital signage and large‑scale video systems
  • Demonstrated success designing and deploying room monitoring, automation, and self‑healing solutions.
  • Strong background in operations, service ownership, and platform standardization across a global footprint.
  • Proven ability to lead and govern managed service providers, including contract oversight and operational accountability.
  • Excellent executive‑level communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical strategy into clear, actionable outcomes.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Media Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Industry certifications such as:
    1. CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
    2. CCNA Collaboration
    3. SAFe / Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent)
  • Experience deploying advanced multimedia technologies such as vMix, VizRT, Analog Way, and large video wall systems.
  • Experience with AV‑over‑IP, software‑defined audio, and large‑scale collaboration platform migrations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, service management platforms, and operational analytics.
  • Prior experience driving service design and operating model transformation in enterprise environments.
  • Experience partnering closely with Facilities, Real Estate, and Security organizations on space design and technology integration.
