Manual Testing

 

Position Title:  Team Leader

Position Summary

 

Testing Insurance applications and support UAT with good Insurance domain knowledge

 

  • Knowledge of STLC and SDLC
  • Knowledge of Agile and traditional methodologies and basic AI understanding 
  • Writing test scenarios/test cases (Functional, System, Integration, and UAT)
  • Perform and Support Manual testing and knowledge of Automation testing
  • Defect Management (Any defect management tool preferably Azure)
  • Perform and support data setup activities and preparation of test data
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Working awareness of other MS applications (word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good in verbal and written communication
  • Should be able to do client communication
  • Should be good in monitoring and mentoring team
  • Knowledge of AI, Automation 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

                     Test bed Preparation (test scenarios, test scripts, test data, loading them in Azure)

                     Creating test scenarios / test cases that map to Good Data, Bad Data and No Data points

                     Executing test scripts (Manual and/or Automated)

                     Logging Defects in Azure and maintaining Defect Management

                     Collation of test results and preparing sign off related documentation

                     Ability to work with Excel and Access to work with large data sets, predominantly to prepare test data

                     Understanding/analysis of the requirement (BRD/Use case/Feature/User Story)

                     Good analytical skills and well-versed in documentation and communication

                     Familiarity with different file formats; text, csv, dat - ability to convert and manipulated files.

                     Good knowledge of Agile methodology and Automation testing tools – Selenium, TOSCA etc

                     Understanding and knowledge of AI

                     Daily and weekly reporting

Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement

 

Education

Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Applications / Computer Science (B.Tech./B.E./BCA/MCA)

 

Experience 

(In Years)

Minimum 4-6 years relevant experience

 

Technical Skills

                     Insurance domain knowledge

                     Testing knowledge – writing test cases, scenarios, preparing test plans, estimation,

                     testing (functional, Integration, System, UAT),

                     Defect Management (Any defect management tool)

                     In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, VLOOKUP, etc.)

                     Working awareness of other MS applications (word, PowerPoint, etc.)

                     Should be very good in written and verbal communication

                     Should be very good in Client Interaction

                     Good Analytical and Logical Reasoning skills

                     Proactive in taking initiatives

                     Good Problem resolution skills

                     AI working knowledge

                     Automation knowledge and tools exp

 

Other Critical Requirements Like Voice/ Non-Voice for Insurance Ops

Preferable ISTQB, Any SAFe certification, GH300
