Group Benefits Regional Business is a core growth engine of MetLife, delivering market‑leading employee benefit solutions through strong broker, employer, and third‑party relationships to U.S.‑based employers with fewer than 5,000 employees. With over 60,000 customers, Regional Business generates approximately $6+ billion in annual premium and is on a path to $8.5B in PFOs by 2030, powered by the broadest product set in the industry to meet the diverse needs of an evolving workforce.

Within this critical and growing business, this newly created role serves as a strategic catalyst to develop, execute, and track initiatives with brokers that matter most. The role will be accountable for executing a unified broker narrative, driving partnership commitments, and ensuring consistent, measurable outcomes across the local franchise footprint. Close collaboration across the Broker Relationship Management Team is essential. A key focus of the role is driving national partnership investments into high‑impact execution at the local franchise level, ensuring measurable and consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Broker Partnership Execution

  • Lead development, execution, and tracking of high-priority initiatives with key brokers.
  • Translate national partnership strategies into consistent, results-driven activation across local franchises.
  • Monitor initiative performance and recommend optimizations to improve broker and business outcomes.

Narrative, Commitments & Strategic Planning

  • Oversee all collective marketing and broker-facing narratives to ensure consistency, clarity, and strategic alignment.
  • Develop, document, and manage annual broker commitments and partnership expectations.
  • Prepare content, insights, and presentations for the annual broker strategy meeting.

Stewardship & Renewal Strategy

  • Work in close partnership with Service to lead stewardship planning, ensuring brokers receive timely, data‑driven updates that reflect partnership value and performance.
  • Support renewal strategies by synthesizing broker insights, market dynamics, and operational outcomes into actionable recommendations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work in close partnership with the Broker Relationship Management Team to ensure seamless strategy deployment and communication.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across Regional Business teams to maintain alignment, track progress, and escalate issues or opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in broker management, partnership development, marketing, or related strategic roles.
  • Proven ability to manage cross‑functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong skills in storytelling, content development, and strategic presentation building.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, track performance metrics, and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in national or regional Broker engagement.
  • Prior work within a franchise‑based business model.
  • Familiarity with marketing narratives, stewardship reports, and broker‑driven renewal strategies.
