In parallel, the role will provide independent review and challenge of actuarial assumptions, including increasing use of AI and advanced analytics in assumption setting. • Own and Enhance EC Planning & Projections
    • Own the EC planning process, including projection of capital aligned with business plans and strategic initiatives.
    • Improve efficiency, consistency, and transparency of forward-looking capital analysis.
    • Enable scenario-based and dynamic capital planning, supporting decision-making across the organization.

  • Incorporate AI and Emerging Risks into EC
    • Own the approach for integrating AI-related risks into the EC framework
    • Ensure risks such as model instability, bias, and data drift are appropriately reflected in capital assessments.
    •  Evolve practices over time as AI usage expands

  • Actuarial Assumption Review & Challenge
    • Provide independent review and challenge of key actuarial assumptions, including mortality, morbidity, and PHB behavior assumptions.
    • Evaluate assumption-setting methodologies, experience studies, and use of advanced analytics and AI models.
    • Ensure assumptions are appropriate, explainable, and aligned with observed experience and forward-looking risks.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
