Role Overview
We are seeking a UI/UX Developer with strong expertise in user experience design and front-end engineering to design, develop, implement, and enhance customer‑centric web applications. The ideal candidate can translate business needs into intuitive user experiences and build high‑quality, scalable UI components while collaborating effectively in a distributed onshore–offshore team model.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using distributed and front‑end technologies.
- Build intuitive, user‑focused, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
- Lead/guide engineering teams in an onshore–offshore model.
- Create reusable UI components for scalability and consistency.
- Work with development teams to design and deliver enhancements in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Partner with Business Analysts to refine use cases and review acceptance criteria.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand workflows.
- Coordinate with partner applications on interface design and requirements.
- Support project/program leadership in delivering high‑quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· 6+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in designing and building enterprise-scale applications (on‑premise and cloud-native).
· 4+ years of hands-on experience in distributed front-end and back-end development using:
o Java, TypeScript/JavaScript
o Spring, Spring Boot
o ReactJS (preferred)
o NodeJS
o AWS/Azure cloud services
o REST API development
o Cloud-native services: AKS, Azure Web Apps
· Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability best practices.
· Practical experience with microservices architecture and cloud‑based application design.
· Familiarity with DevSecOps, Git-based code management, branching strategies, CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred).
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
