Description and Requirements

The Product Development Specialist will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of life insurance products. This position requires a deep understanding of the life insurance market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and management of products.

Product Strategy 

  • Be responsible for market research and market comparison, provide analysis to support product development and positioning; utilize knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences to ideate new solutions, seeking input from key internal and external stakeholders for product ideas, product concepts;
  • Developing and maintaining a product strategy aligned with company goals 
  • Customer Focus: Understanding customer needs and preferences, ensuring that products are designed to meet these needs.
  • Deep understanding of the bank's customer base to accurately identify their needs for life insurance products.
  • To join in digital projects/channel development, closely collaborate with business partners/vendors to gain insights and provide specific packages for different platforms.


 

 

Product design and implementation

  • Be responsible for end-to-end product conceptualization (TnC, Illustration, Product Spec & BRD), implementation and launching for all products. 
  • Collaborating with business operations and IT teams for implementations requirements (BRD and UAT system).
  • Direct in charge to develop system requirements and to ensure high quality UAT for every product development (Day 1.0, Day 1.5,…) and system adjustment;
  • To engage with ISA (MOF) to submit, explain, resubmit and get approval in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

 

Performance Metrics:

  • Take the lead in product-related projects, both internal and external, for product performance tracking and sales KPIs. 
  • Providing ongoing support to sales and marketing teams for product positioning and promotion.
  • Maintaining a network of contacts within bank partner (BIDV) and related organizations (MoF / IAV)
