| Position Summary | |||||||||||||||
| One should have good hands on exposure on Mainframe development. One with minimal guidance should be able to design and implement complex solutions. One should be able to adopt with new technologies or technological changes in an Agile environment. Should also have experience in leading/mentoring team of 10+ resources. | |||||||||||||||
| Job Responsibilities | |||||||||||||||
| 1. Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, Zeke, File Aid, Changeman, AbendAid 2. Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables 3. Must have analytical and coding skills 4. Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration, performance, volume 5. Manages all aspects of implementation planning & coordination 6. Develops detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement and stabilize phases of the project 7. Performs database/ disaster recovery planning for multiple systems 8. Facilitates complex group meetings (including business partners) for technical design, decision making, problem solving, implementation and strategic planning 9. High degree of professionalism, enthusiasm, autonomy and initiative on a daily basis 10. Demonstrate high level of ownership, leadership and drive in contributing innovative solutions. 11. Ability to lead and mentor team (10+) resources 12. Team Goal setting and tracking 13. Stakeholder management 14. Project planning, management and tracking

Experience | § 12 to 15 years of hands on MAINFRAME, COBOL, JCL, CICS, SAS, REXX, DB2, Omni Script, Shell Script with Leadership and Mentorship skills |
