The Key Account Manager is responsible for the activation and recruitment, training and development of a group of large brokers within the Lisbon Area. 

 

The Key Account Manager position is crucial to the prosperity and profitability of MetLife in Portugal, contributing to the increased coverage of MetLife products that help build a more confident future for our customers and business partners.

The Opportunity 

TheKey Account Manager is responsible forrecruit, train and develop new business and lead the portfolio growth of large brokers. This role is key at MetLife as the Channel is one of the main contributors of Metlife growth.

Success in this role requirespeople with the following skills: positive energy, focus and persistency mind set and methodology. It also requires a person that feels enthusiastic and energised by the success of their Brokers, and finally it would suitable someone that really enjoys working in a face to face (f2f) environment. 

TheKey Account Manager is responsible fortrain and develop the large brokerage distribution and collaborate internally with key players to be successful into the role in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications) 

  • Bachelor degree level 
  • Driving licence 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft tools 
  • Spoken English and native Portuguese
  • Natural communicator who is able to articulate themselves 
  • Having the traits and competencies needed to be good at selling such as being able to build business relationships
