MetLife Poland which is in Warsaw City Centre.   Warsaw is our Center of Excellence for our Europe Region.  In addition, Warsaw has a significant number of our colleagues that are focused on supporting our broader EMEA and Global functions. They are homes to our Actuarial, Audit, Compliance, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, Risk and Treasury Teams.  


Role Value Proposition

Due to maternity leave, we have a Contract role for a Fund Administrator to join our Fund Administration & Pricing team. The successful candidate will join a team of six and gain exposure to core elements of fund administration—including daily pricing, reconciliations, investment accounting inputs, and operational controls. The role offers strong grounding in fund processes, systems, and governance within a global financial services organization.

Daily pricing is supported by the integrated Fund Admin system (InvestPro), which generates investment accounting records and daily declared fund prices. The Fund Administrator will assist in ensuring accurate daily updates of market and transaction activity, as well as supporting reconciliations against external sources. Five portfolios of unit-linked investment funds are priced on a rotational basis by the team.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their technical experience and develop their career within fund administration in a multinational environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production of timely and accurate daily fund prices for assigned funds.
  • Update and maintain daily market data, investment activity and cash movements within the Fund Admin system (InvestPro).
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations to third‑party sources (custodians, banks, mutual fund statements).
  • Assist with NAV validation activities, ensuring the daily price accurately reflects underlying market movements and activity.
  • Process routine fund events such as corporate actions, trades, settlements and dividends.
  • Support regulatory and management reporting by preparing accurate and timely data extracts and checks.
  • Address operational queries professionally, escalating issues as needed to the senior team members.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 1–2 years’ experience in fund administration, fund operations, accounting, or similar financial operations environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a deadline‑driven team and manage daily workflows.
  • Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Experience in a life insurance environment.
  • Exposure to Bloomberg or InvestPro.
  • Understanding of NAV calculation and unit‑linked fund structures.
