Job Description:
- Agent Relationship Management & Development: Serve as the primary point of contact for Insurance Agents and Sales Managers, building strong, collaborative relationships focused on their professional growth and retention.
- Business Development: Identify and capitalize on all company opportunities to expand our business. Responsible to achieve Assigned Monthly / Yearly Business Targets & Productivity & Activation Targets.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Recruit, train, and develop a team of Insurance Agents and Sales Managers, providing ongoing coaching, support, and guidance to maximize their potential.
- Activity Management & Control: Implement and monitor activity management strategies focused on agent productivity, retention, and adherence to company processes and guidelines.
- Process Adherence: Ensure full understanding and compliance with all company processes, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Meetings & Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular daily, weekly, and monthly face-to-face and team meetings to monitor agent progress, provide feedback, and address any challenges.
- Target Achievement & Performance Management: Drive the achievement of team recruitment and sales targets, proactively monitoring performance against plans and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Motivation & Engagement: Motivate the team to achieve daily activation goals, contributing to weekly and monthly targets, with a strong focus on agent retention and income growth.
- Customer Focus: Champion a culture of exceptional customer service and support within the sales team.
- Compliance & Certification: Ensure the successful completion of all mandatory certifications by team members and maintain full compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Strategic Business Direction: Strategize, plan, and direct all business aspects of the distribution channel to meet agreed organizational performance plans within budget and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Sales Management Processes: Establish, implement, and adhere to effective sales management processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve standards and procedures to facilitate the effective, disciplined, and consistent functioning of the direct sales force structure.
- Best Practices & Quality Programs: Communicate and ensure the implementation of Insurance Advisor "Best Practices" and the "sales practice quality program."
- Compliance Adherence: Understand and adhere to all compliance requirements, including reporting suspicious transactions, screening, record retention, and providing timely support to Compliance.
- Sales Quality : Ensure Adherence to Sales quality , Suitable Business Sourcing & Renewal Persistency Guidelines.
Communications & Working Relationships :
- Will be reporting to Head of Agency
- Will develop and manage a team of 5 – 6 Sales Mangers with a team of 50 – 60 Insurance Agents
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience within the UAE's Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services sectors.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in leading and managing large sales teams (50+ individuals) within the UAE.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving positive sales performance and exceeding targets.
- Mandatory: Significant experience in Life Insurance sales and a proven ability to effectively manage and develop life insurance sales teams.
