In this role, you will combine hands‑on engineering with technical leadership. You will architect and implement workflow, automation, and platform solutions, while enabling regional teams to adopt intelligent automation and AI tools. The ideal candidate brings workflow/platform expertise, agile delivery experience, cloud awareness, and strong stakeholder management skills. You will act as both a technical contributor and a leader driving organizational transformation.

What you will do in this role…

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–3 automation engineers.
• Design and implement workflow automation using platforms such as Pega, BizFlow, Power Platform, ServiceNow, and other RPA/BPM tools.
• Direct intelligent automation proof‑of‑concept (PoC) implementations using agile/scrum delivery methodologies in collaboration with multiple regional teams. 
• Coordinate transformation squads and align engineering work with business objectives.
• Encourage experimentation, use case development, and adoption of AI and intelligent automation tools.
• Integrate workflows with APIs, microservices, and agentic AI services.
• Support cultural and technological transformation initiatives across the organization.
• Recommend and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud‑native engineering practices.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, features, and technical requirements.
• Build scalable, reusable automation components.

To help you succeed, you need to have…

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with workflow and automation platforms (Pega Systems, BizFlow, Power Platform, and ServiceNow).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration with global or regional (LATAM) teams.
• Experience in digital transformation, innovation, change management, and developing PoC.
• Understanding of AI-driven decisioning and intelligent automation ecosystems.
• Fluent English level.

And it will be a plus if you have… 

• Working knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, cloud‑native operations) and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JMS, APIs, microservices).
• Experience in the financial or insurance sectors.
• Fluent Portuguese level.
