Guided by our purpose – always with you, building a more confident future – and MetLife’s New Frontier growth strategy, this role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-impact client service, provide consultative expertise on global benefits solutions, and partner cross-functionally to support client retention and strategic growth. The role balances direct client engagement with consultative collaboration across internal and external partners and supports both standalone MWB and Globaline client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary service contact for standalone MWB clients with Life, AD&D, and LTD coverage, maintaining overall responsibility for the end-to-end service experience, client satisfaction, and retention.
  • Partner closely and collaboratively with BCBS Client Managers on shared Globaline clients, serving primarily in a consultative capacity for Life, AD&D, and LTD products.
  • Respond to client and partner inquiries regarding eligibility, claims, policy provisions, billing, and plan design.
  • Manage and resolve escalated service issues by coordinating with internal teams as needed.
  • Conduct annual client and stewardship meetings to review plan design, service performance, and trends.
  • Support clients through plan design changes, renewal negotiations, and open enrollment cycles.
  • Participate in work team huddles and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure client deliverables are met.
  • Participate in finalist meetings for prospective clients, as needed, in partnership with the Account Executive.
  • Ensure proper licensing, appointments, commissions, and broker-of-record (BOR) documentation are completed and maintained.
  • Demonstrate strong client-specific product knowledge and provide consultative support based on client business activity, including organizational or workforce changes.
  • Participate in implementation activities to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for standalone and Globaline clients.
  • Review and deliver finalized contract details following renewals.
  • Support member education initiatives when required.
  • Maintain accurate and current broker and client data within Salesforce.com.
  • Build and maintain long-term trusted client relationships to support account growth and retention.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting Life, AD&D, and LTD insurance products.
  • 3–5 years of client-facing experience.
  • Life & Health insurance license or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience working with large broker partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex accounts independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of financial services and/or insurance experience, preferably in a client management role.
  • 3–5 years of account management experience.
  • Experience supporting global or multinational clients.
  • Bilingual language skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation under the sales plan for the position. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
