Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions using Quadient and Documaker platform technologies, supporting high-volume document processing and digital communication workflows. Lead the Quadient migration team by managing all technical design, development, and implementation activities to ensure seamless feature delivery without operational disruptions. Design and develop complex document templates and workflows using Quadient Scalar, Interactive, and Designer platforms. Implement system integrations with databases, APIs, and external systems for seamless data flow. Develop and maintain production-grade CCM applications, processing millions of customer documents. Develop and implement a structured approach for Documaker to Quadient migration activities, including reverse engineering of Documaker System, Quadient Architecture and Design, Development templates and unit test, QA and Production deployment along with standardized procedures to ensure smooth knowledge transfer to BAU teams across project handovers. Use latest AI technologies including Python, GitHub and Copilot to develop solutions that accelerate delivery to the Production environment and enable the business to stay market relevant and grow faster. Develop Quadient Inspire Platform with a focus on Quadient Inspire Scaler and Dynamic communications. Complete code reviews, security flaw review and remediation. Analyze, design, and drive solutions for major components and features. Architect scalable solutions for high-volume document generation and multichannel delivery. Help lead conversion of legacy document composition systems for global standard platform Quadient. Help lead development of Proof of Concepts (PoC) solutions to jump start business challenges. Lead infrastructure initiatives to create a scalable environment supporting application growth and performance requirements. Code review, debugging, and performance optimization of existing applications. Provide 24/7 production support for critical customer communication systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments. Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent outages. Coordinate with cross-functional teams during incident resolution and change management. Maintain disaster recovery procedures and backup systems. Lead technical aspects of CCM enhancement projects, BAU and legacy modernization initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Interface with key stakeholders and business leaders. Work with cross-functional teams for delivery. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members. Participate in architecture review meetings and technical design discussions. Coordinate with offshore development teams and manage deliverables. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications and processes. Lead the collection and documentation of technical requirements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SOX, ADA accessibility standards). Develop and maintain coding standards, deployment checklists, and operational procedures. Participate in audit activities and provide technical documentation.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a software engineer in the insurance domain. Position requires: Demonstrated experience performing all facets of Customer Communication Management (CCM), encompassing implementation, solution architecture, development, and technical support, which facilitates the delivery of millions of policy-related communications through print, email, and SMS channels. Demonstrated experience developing automated CCM applications that support diverse lines of business, including Dental, Group Benefits, Retirement Income, Retail Life, and Retail Annuities. Demonstrated experience leveraging advanced AI tools and programming languages to drive scalable business solutions.


Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

 

The expected salary range for this position is $148,720.00 - $175,600.00. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
