The Team You Will Join 
The Investments communications team is part of Global Marketing and Communictaions and is charged with managing the internal and external communications of MetLife Investments - MetLife Investment Management (MIM) and MetLife Insurance Investments (MII). The team advises on reputational matters and drives a communications strategy that reflects the industry leadership of MetLife Investments. Within MIM and MII, the team seeks to drive engagement and grow and strengthen the cultures of MIM and MII by delivering clear and timely communications across the businesses.
 
The Opportunity 
The Communications Consultant - Investments Communications is responsible for driving clear, timely communications that inform Investments teams about key strategic priorities and key initiatives as well as strengthen the cultures of MetLife Investment Management (MIM) and MetLife Insurance Investments (MII) globally. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior leaders and others accross Investments to drive associate engagement, capture and tell stories that help the businesses grow and thrive and help shape the voice of MIM and MII. This role features a diverse set of communications responsibilities and provides an opportunity to positvely impact the strategies of MIM and MII. The successful candidate will drive creative communications programs accross a set of channels that keep the businesses connected, informed and able to perform at their highest level.

Success in this role requires strong storytelling abilities and a passion for driving engagement. The Communications Consultant - Investments Communications is responsible for creating compelling communications conent and strategically leveraging communications channels to make our messaging land. You’ll collaborate closely with communications colleagues, Investments leaders and cheifs of staff in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

  • Create articles, posts, presentations and content that connect, inform and inspire
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders that inform our work and support strong, authentic communications  
  • Coordinate with team members our programs and communications channels to ensure maxium effectiveness 
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
  • SharePoint - Maintain SharePoint sites and update content
  • PowerPoint - Build high-visibility presentations for stakeholders
  • Microsoft Outlook - Compose and send targeted emails to key Investments audiences 
  • Collaborative work style, able to execute against deadlines
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, strong editorial skills
  • Project management skills
 What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
  • Suggested three of years of experience in communications 
  • Knowledge of email marketing and electronic publishing platforms as you help us reach our target audiences
  • Knowledge of internal and external social media platforms to help us reach stakeholders where they are  
  • Creativity in both content production and distribution
  • Knowledge of institutional investing and financial markets
  • Microsoft Copilot
 

The salary range for applicants for this position is $73,000 - $97,400 Base Salary + Annual Bonus.
