The Opportunity

This opportunity is a Dedicated Client Services Consultant role in support of one large customer in the West Customer Unit, providing administrative support and customer service. In this position you will be responsible for managing the relationship with the customer while partnering with internal resources including the Account Team, Account Executive, Claim Operations, and others.


Key Responsibilities
  • Overall accountability for: customer requests, leading projects, providing alternative solutions, consults where appropriate, identifies possible plan design alternatives, acts as a liaison between the customer and internal MetLife teams and collaborates for problem troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to support ongoing customer delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Leads, participates, and drives resolutions where applicable in both customer- and internal-facing presentations and meetings.
  • Participates in strategy meetings, establishes specific processes and reports, provides demonstrations, reviews contract documents, creates process manuals, inputs, and ensures accurate input of data in MetLife systems.
  • Develops agenda and presentation materials for customer meetings.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience 
  • Knowledge of Group Benefits core products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness. 
  • Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Group Benefits core products - particularly Disability and Absence Management

 

This posting is for a current vacancy and is anticipated to remain open for at least 90 days from the listed posting date.


The expected salary range for this position is $64,800 - $99,300. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
