Manage Investment Operations wire processing for private placement funding, bank loans, internal cash movements, claims, reimbursements, fees and FX-related payments.
Validate wire instructions, SSI details, beneficiary/intermediary bank information, funding amounts, value dates, approvals and supporting documentation.
Perform call-backs, maker-checker reviews, control checks and escalations to mitigate payment, fraud, operational and reputational risk.
Create, review and release Fedwire, SWIFT and bank portal payments through Kyriba, Aladdin, custodian portals and related banking platforms, aligned with current ISO 20022 payment processing standards where applicable.
Process and review wire payments using SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX message standards, including structured payment fields, party details, intermediary/agent information, value dates, charges, confirmations, message repair and MT-to-MX transition requirements.
Track wire references, confirmations and settlement status, and provide timely updates to custodians, banks, outside counsel, portfolio teams and internal stakeholders.
Investigate and resolve cash, position, funding, income, paydown, accrual, Principle & Interest allocation and bank-versus-Aladdin/PAM/PPIM variance breaks.
Analyze Principle & Interest allocation trends under the MIM PIP model to identify root causes, improve matching logic, strengthen controls and reduce manual correction wires.
Coordinate with Middle Office, Treasury, Data Integrity, Pricing, Client Reporting, Custodian banking and technology teams for exception resolution and downstream accuracy.
Maintain dashboards, management reports, SOPs, control evidence, audit support, issue logs and knowledge repositories.
Monitor service level agreements (SLAs), handle escalations as needed and demonstrate flexibility in working during holidays and night shifts.
Knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot, Alteryx, Power Automate etc. would be an added advantage.
