Role Overview

Coordinating and developing the network of Agencies within the assigned area to achieve sales objectives and ensure customer portfolio retention. The role involves implementing the commercial strategy, monitoring teams performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and creating an environment that supports professional growth and performance. Furthermore, the Agency Executive is expected to demonstrate a high level of leadership, strategic vision, and a hands-on approach to developing a high-performing sales network, with a strong emphasis on professional ethics and customer orientation.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a high-performing strategy to grow and strengthen Metropolitan Life’s presence in the assigned region;
  • Increase the number of Agents and Agencies in the region;
  • Monitor Teams’ activity and implement action plans to achieve targets;
  • Organize and conduct team meetings, necessary training sessions, and motivational activities;
  • Supervise and support Managers in recruiting, training, and mentoring life insurance Agents, ensuring that all the activities comply with Metropolitan Life policies, business principles, and legal requirements;
  • Provide regular reports to management regarding area performance;
  • Closely monitor sales quality, proactively identify any fraud attempts or misrepresentation in the sales process, and report any suspicion to the Agency Director and the Compliance department;
  • Continuously evaluate the professional performance of Agents, Unit Managers, and Agency Managers, and propose actions to improve their performance and development;
  • Participate in strategic projects for the development of the Distribution channel, as assigned by the Agency Director;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key local stakeholders, business communities, and industry partners to strengthen Metropolitan Life’s market position.

 

In order to be a good fit, you’ll have to bring to the table:

  • Education: University degree;
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services; experience in team coordination;
  • Leadership and coaching skills;
  • Results orientation and ability to analyse performance indicators;
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong recruitment, coaching, and team development skills, with the ability to build and motivate a sales force;
  • Solid digital skills (Excel, Salesforce, online communication platforms, AI applications, social media, etc.);
  • Experience in monitoring and managing performance using CRM tools;
  • Strong knowledge of ethics, compliance, and regulations within the insurance industry;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Very good communication skills in English;
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions;
  • Mindset based on performance and willingness to make a difference.
