AP Specialist
- Accounting of invoices and other accounting documents, perform reclasses and prepayments, ensuring correct VAT treatment and compliance with regional tax regulations (both EU and non-EU).
- Ensure timely approval and posting of supplier invoices, following internal approval workflows.
- Verification of received documents to state their completeness and accuracy.
- Actively engage in the payment process and manage banking systems to independently create urgent and atypical payments.
- Maintain excellent cooperation with internal stakeholders.
- Be fully responsible for Month End Closure of AP module for the assigned entities.
- Identify the root of discrepancies in the General Ledger and create journals to ensure correct posting of costs and accounts.
- Prepare and analyze Liability Account Reconciliation, including solving accounting errors.
- Manage AP general mailbox for the assigned entities and respond to inquiries (promptly and professionally) in line with the SLA.
- Proficiency in English (min. B2);
- Experience in Accounting field (min. 1 years);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Preferably university degree
- Pro-active attitude in solving issues;
- Knowledge of Excel (min. intermediate level);
- Fast learner;
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft system, nice to have
- Knowledge of Ariba SAP system, nice to have
