Position Summary

The primary function of the Migration Lead is to support migration from IT readiness standpoint. Along with Migration, Role includes the required assistance in all aspects of the administrative and operations of the assigned portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

 

  1. Person will be responsible to support and track process migration from IT standpoint
  2. Manage IT enablement as per business requirement (IT Infra/application/End user enablement readiness etc.). 
  3. Work closely with multiple stakeholders including global support, operations & migration teams to ensure seamless migration 
  4. Person will be responsible for creating dash boards and report out as per business requirement.
  5. Person will be responsible to work with respective vendors towards resolution of issues coming in migrations.
  6. Partnership with enterprise team for the technologies used in India region.
  7. Coordination with respective stakeholders for various IT related requirements.
  8. Person will be responsible to create SOPs for troubleshooting of any new error/issue for Knowledge Base
  9. Person will be responsible for managing asset lifecycle
  10. To facilitate support for any enterprise upgrade or initiative

 

 

 

 

Education

·       Minimum Qualifications: 

Must be a Graduate. (BE/B. Tech will be preferred).

 

Experience

  • ~ 3 years of experience on IT support around migrations
  • Well versed with different IT infrastructure, associated OS, technical troubleshooting 
  • Good in liaison with Internal & external stakeholders, vendors

 

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Should have experience of IT infrastructure
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Understanding of people management 
  • Self-motivated, well organized, and flexible with a sense of urgency approach 
  • Adaptability to change 
  • Self-disciplined and result oriented 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritizing effectively. 
  • Ability to find creative and innovative solutions to business problems
  • Must be flexible to US Daytime work hours.
  • Should be capable of building and sustaining strong relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Should have knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Network connectivity, MPLS, internet, VPN etc.)
