Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Software/Platform Engineer I to support the design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise applications within the F2F Team, with a primary focus on Sales and Support applications.
Role Purpose: This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing systems while also developing new features that improve sales operations and provide practical support for agents.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with the Technical Lead and Solution Architect to progress solution design and deliver features that meet business requirements for existing and new F2F channel applications.
• Collaborate with the Agile team to develop business capabilities in a scalable, secure, and industry-standard manner.
• Apply full stack development expertise across front-end development, back-end API development, databases, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and database technologies such as Cosmos DB.
• Support AI and Generative AI initiatives across the SDLC, including the creation and use of AI agents for development, unit testing, agentic workflows, personalization, predictive analytics, agent-assist capabilities, content automation, conversational AI, and Copilot solutions from PoC and pilot phases through production implementation.
• Work effectively as part of an Agile, multicultural team, collaborating closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, and testing team to achieve shared goals.

Required Experience and Skills
• 4+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments, with proven ability to contribute to full stack development and technical solutioning.
• Experience designing and delivering digital platforms for insurance, banking, or similarly regulated business applications.
• Strong hands-on engineering skills across solution design, coding, testing, deployment, production support, root cause analysis, performance tuning, security remediation, and complex issue resolution.
• Technical expertise in full stack development, solution architecture, system design, modern front-end frameworks, back-end technologies, APIs, integration, cloud platforms, databases, CI/CD, DevOps, security, performance, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI/ML, Generative AI, AI agents, agentic workflows or Copilot-based solutions from PoC and pilot phases through production. Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI/OpenAI or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile, global, and cross-functional environments. Cloud, AI, or architecture certifications are a plus.
• Business-level communication skills in English and Japanese are required; Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or above is expected.
