Responsibilities

The Multimedia Support Engineer will coordinate, execute, and support the multimedia requirements of executive and routine meetings. This role involves providing technical support for audiovisual and videoconferencing equipment, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining the integrity of conference rooms in a fast-paced corporate environment.

·         Audiovisual and Videoconference Technology Setup: Setup, test, operate, and tear down audiovisual, videoconference equipment, and digital signage equipment.

·         Technical Support: Provide technical support for audiovisual and videoconference systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

·         Videoconference Management: Execute all aspects of videoconferences, including call setup, end-user training, troubleshooting, and escalation of issues.

·         Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance checks and address issues with audiovisual, videoconferencing and digital signage equipment.

·         User Training and Consultation: Provide consultation and education to end-users on presentation technology equipment.

·         Technology Updates: Stay updated with current and new audiovisual and videoconference technologies.

 

Requirements

·         Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

·         Technical Expertise: Thorough working knowledge of audiovisual and videoconference equipment, including systems from manufacturers like Cisco and Crestron.

·         Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in AV and presentation technologies and customer service experience.

·         Certifications: CTS certification and relevant training in multimedia systems are desired.

·         Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills.

·         Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

·         Team Player: Ability to work independently and excel in a team environment.

·         Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
