Role Overview

MetLife is seeking experienced Business/Functional Analyst to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves analyzing and documenting business requirements for systems and applications. It also involves working in Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions toobserve,documentandvalidatebusiness processes and capture key insights. 
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions, elicit, analyze, document functional requirements and rules. 
• Participate in the backlog prioritization/grooming. 

• Create user stories and wireframes to conceptualize future states for user experience, new or enhanced services and business cases for products or features. Define acceptance criteria. 
• Create technical user manuals, system configurationdocumentsand other technical reports.
• Lead operational and production support with ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in the business workflow and processes on a variety of production and application issues. 
• Monitor performance,identifyingunderlying problems, researching potentialsolutionsand propose necessary actions in business workflow and processes.

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience:

• 3+ years inas aBusiness Analys or Functional Analyst rolepreferablyin Japan InsuranceIndustry

• Skills:Problem Solving andCollaboration,InsuranceIndustry Knowledge,Requirements AnalysisandAnalytical Thinking
• Tech Stack: Agile, AzureBoards, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps,etc

Language:  Business Proficiency in Japanese; English language is a plus

• 技術マニュアルやシステム構成書などの技術文書作成
• 運用・本番サポートをリードし、問題解決や原因分析を実施
• パフォーマンス監視、課題特定、解決策の検討・提案

応募資格

• 学歴：学士号または同等の資格
• 経験：ビジネス／ファンクショナルアナリストとして3年以上（保険業界経験歓迎）
• スキル：問題解決力、協働力、保険業界知識、要件分析、論理的思考
• 技術：Agile、Azure Boards、JIRA、Confluence、Azure DevOpsなど
• 言語：日本語ビジネスレベル、英語尚可
